Woodson: "It's not bittersweet, I'm a champ"

Charles Woodson was unable to play the rest of the 2nd Quarter after he broke his collarbone defending a pass that could have turned into a Steelers touchdown without his efforts. He could not return to the game after the injury. He gave an emotional speech at halftime that made players, such as Tramon Williams (#38 of the Packers) fight harder to get Charles his ring. This was Woodson's second Super Bowl appearence since 2002 when he went with the Raiders and came up short. This is what he had to say at the end of the game wit NFL Network's Fran Charles.

It’s not bittersweet. I’m a champ,” Woodson said. “The team went out there and did what they needed to do. You know what? Today was like a microcosm of our whole season. We’ve been decimated by injuries all year. But guys just continued to step up and go out there and get the job done. And they did it today.” (NFL.com)
